Male Champion of Change - award for Wojciech Koszuta in a prestigious competition

On 5 June, Wojciech Koszuta, chairman of the BoD and CEO of ArcelorMittal Poland, received an award in the Male Champion of Change category during the final gala of the 16th edition of the “Sukces pisany Szminką” competition in Warsaw.

This recognition is dedicated to men who support fair treatment of women in business and promote diversity by holding high positions in corporations.

For 16 years, this competition has been rewarding female entrepreneurs, activists, social activists, educators, as well as leaders and organizations that boldly shape the future, fighting for equality, diversity and inclusion. This is a distinction for people who change the world for the better!

I see this award as an appreciation of our efforts to strengthen openness at ArcelorMittal Poland, as well as a personal achievement. I always emphasize that what matters at work is competence, not gender or origin. I know this because every day I have the opportunity to work with great female professionals in an industry that is stereotypically associated with more masculine activities. However, I know that in industries such as ours, women also feel great. I'm really proud! - Wojciech Koszuta, chairman of the BoD and CEO of ArcelorMittal Poland
