
Yesterday, the Supervisory Board approved changes in the Management Board of ArcelorMittal Poland. The composition of the SB itself has also changed.
By the decision of the Supervisory Board of 30 March 2026, Grzegorz Maracha – COO of Primary and Member of the Executive Management Board – was appointed to the Management Board. Grzegorz started working in the Krakow branch of the company in 1994 and went through the next career ladders: he was the director of the Krakow steel plant, then the Blast Furnace and Steel Plant, and since 2020 m.in the CEO of Kolprem. In December 2021, he became the COO of Primary and a member of the executive board of ArcelorMittal Poland.
Czesław Sikorski, long-time Vice President of the Management Board of ArcelorMittal Poland, has resigned from this position, and Frederik Van De Velde has resigned from his position as a member of the Management Board of ArcelorMittal Poland.
"I would like to thank both Czesław and Frederik for their knowledge and commitment, as well as the energy they devoted to our company. Their contribution to the functioning of our business is invaluable" says Wojciech Koszuta, chairman and CEO of ArcelortMittal Poland. "I wish Grzegorz a lot of success and every success in this new role. I believe that his many years of experience in the steel making process, which is crucial for metallurgy, and his leadership skills in this new position will benefit the entire company" he adds.
There were also changes in the composition of the Supervisory Board. The resignation was submitted by a long-time member of the Association, Andrzej Wypych, who has been an invaluable support over many years. Czesław Sikorski has become a new member of the Supervisory Board.
