ArcelorMittal Poland and the Krakow City Hall invite you to participate in the "We Act Locally" grant programme for active residents of Krakow. ArcelorMittal Poland allocated as much as PLN 100,000 for distribution to social projects that can be submitted by non-governmental organizations, social cooperatives and informal groups working for the benefit of Krakow residents. Applications may be submitted until May 31.
Submitted projects should concern one of the following areas: ecology, health and safety, education. An organisation or a group of residents should use a grant for a specific project, an extension of their social activity or a new activity for residents. However, the funds cannot be used to cover the everyday activities of the organization (e.g. to pay current bills).
For this year's edition ArcelorMittal Poland has allocated PLN 100,000 and the amount of the grant may range from PLN 5,000 to PLN 10,000.
The deadline for submitting applications is 31 May.
The committee composed of representatives of ArcelorMittal Poland and the Social Policy and Health Department of the City of Krakow will examine the applications and select the best projects by 19 June.
