We offer many internal and external trainings organized as part of our ArcelorMittal University, Polish campus is located in Dąbrowa Górnicza. It is a modern training center with an area of 1600 m2, where there are, among others, conference rooms, a room for creative work, an IT studio and a room with VR equipment.
We plan the future together
We conduct activities to help employees in determining optimal development paths and diagnosing areas for strengthening. Our employee appraisal system and regular meetings devoted to reviews of appraisals and development plans (so-called career committees) help employees and their superiors to assess the progress of professional development on an ongoing basis.
As part of individual forms of development work, we use mentoring (internal knowledge transfer between experienced employees and junior staff) and coaching (work with external trainers, which allows us to strengthen self-awareness and competences).
Selected development projects
Take Care is our flagship program on safety, under which we organize practical exercises in production halls and theoretical classes with experts in the field of health and safety.
As part of the activities of the internal ArcelorMittal University, the training team organizes an annual Learning Week, during which employees can participate in various thematic workshops and lectures. Hundreds of us attend this event every year.
A master at the start, a manager at the start, a manager's toolkit - these are initiatives involving structured training introducing individual employees to their new roles. The programs strengthen managerial competences and allow you to assume a new function faster.
Apprenticeships and internships
Pupils, students and graduates of universities have the opportunity to get to know our work "behind the scenes" thanks to our apprenticeship and internship programs. Many of them, after their internships/apprenticeships, stay at ArcelorMittal Poland to further develop their careers.
