On Monday and Tuesday, one of the dedusting installations used during the coke production process will be repaired at ArcelorMittal Poland Kraków Unit. As a result, there will be a higher probability of stronger dust emissions from the plant. The renovation will last between 8 and 10 hours, but each increased emission of dusts should not last longer than one minute. Due to technological reasons, it is not possible to idle the coke battery for the time of the repair. Coke production will be decreased by 30% in order to minimise the risk of increased dust emissions. As pointed out by Ms Zawitkowska, the works will improve the reliability of the installation.
