30 years ago, our employees from Dabrowa Górnicza plant broke a record in swimming relay and entered in the Guinness World Records. On 17th of February 1987, 20 employees were swimming constantly 9 days and nights. They covered a distance of 601 km. After 30 years they decided to meet to celebrate this event and swim symbolic 600 meters. – We were not able to find all participants but even in a smaller group, it will be easy to cover the planned distance –says Jerzy Sufranowicz, initiator of the action, health ambassador of ArcelorMittal Poland.
Congratulations to all, who covered the record-breaking distance and to those who celebrated it in recent event.
