New garden appeared in Nowa Huta under the project Nowa Huta Gardens. It connects education and recreation. This “green classroom” is located at School Complex no 14 at housing district Sportowe.
- First stage of the project started from Erasmus program – international project carried out at our school. Idea could be continued thanks to the Nowa Huta Gardens project organized by the Nowa Huta Cultural Center with partnership of ArcelorMittal Poland – says headmaster of school Ms Anna Kosińska
New garden is adjusted to needs of people with various disabilities but it is also open for the residents of the district. One can relax there or play chess.
This is already 12th garden organized under Nowa Huta Gardens project. The idea arose 7 years ago.
- We are very glad that we can participate in this project, “rejuvenate” green areas in Nowa Huta but at the same way integrate residents. A huge advantage is that thanks to professional projects these gardens have different character but still become part of the neighborhood. Ahead of us another edition of the project- says Monika Olech from the press office of ArcelorMittal Poland.
