On 31st of January, first panel discussion of ArcelorMittal Poland in Dąbrowa Górnicza took place. Representatives of local authorities, organizations, institutions and NGOs participated in it. The aim of the meeting was to find out about the opinions and recommendations on ArcelorMittal Poland role in the region and to indicate areas where commitment of our company is advisable.
Unusual form of the meeting
The meeting was organized as per the international standard of dialog with stakeholders- AA1000SES. This standard defines such rules of meeting organization which allow for effective use of time during friendly discussion. The meeting is led by experienced moderators, who are not employed by the organizer- ArcelorMittal Poland. The role of organizer is to listen actively without the right to speak.
Next steps?
Opinions and recommendations which were expressed during a panel will be presented to the Board of ArcelorMittal Poland. Conclusions will help ArcelorMittal Poland to develop the most needed activities under cooperation with stakeholders in the area of Dąbrowa Górnicza.
