ArcelorMittal Poland with the award „Innovator 2019”. Our company was recognized in the category: institution supporting innovation, implementing solutions which engage local communities, supporting volunteering activities and creating social projects.
The competition „Innovator 2019” is organized by Academy of Business (WSB) in Dąbrowa Górnicza. The awards are granted to representatives of business, science and local governments for their contribution in innovation. The official gala was held under International Conference “Innovation and entrepreneurship. Theory and practice”, in which Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education, scientist from 40 educational institutions from Europe, North America and Africa participated.
The award Innovator 2019 is handed to institutions, companies, which have innovative approach towards its operation and are a model for others.
- Good relation with neighbors is a very important area of activity for each company, which runs its business in a sustainable way. For us activities addressed to local communities don’t always mean financial support measured by account balance of institution, NGOs. We try to create, change, engage. We offer innovative projects, which inspire residents to take care after their health, education and environment – says Monika Roznerska, HR director at ArcelorMittal Poland who received the award on behalf of the company.– We prefer the attitude to teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime, to motivate, to encourage to joint responsibility, respect others. We encourage and support our employees in volunteering initiatives for kids, elderly or disabled ones.
